A striking 300g unclassified meteorite from Morocco, Northwest Africa, distinguished by its deep black coloration, broad flattened form and unusually sculptural natural surface.
The specimen displays a combination of relatively smooth, gently contoured areas and more deeply textured sections with pronounced depressions and irregular formations. Fine natural fractures cross portions of the exterior, with subtle brown oxidation visible within some of the cracks, creating an attractive contrast against the predominantly black surface.
Its broad, substantial shape allows the meteorite to display exceptionally well from several orientations, including upright as a dramatic cabinet specimen.
